Exactly what I needed! I have been doing UX and UI for a number of years, but mostly for my own apps and websites. I decided to freelance this year and had never worked on an Agile team. This book was a great intro to that. I'd also highly recommend it to any startup CEO. UX is often completely overlooked to newer companies that think if they pour money into a great looking product, people will use it. If you need a crash course in UX, then this is the book!
This book is very good delivering the overall concept of Lean UX. But it lacks of enough details in how to implement and the day to day tricks. It’s very recommended for the ones that want to understand the basic concepts. It’s also a good “next book†for the ones that have read The Lean Startup and The Startup way.
As a UX engineer, I've worked on several teams with all different design processes. This book encapsulated all the lessons I've learned through years of successes and failures.
It’s a shame the book’s sleeve is a little too movable. Otherwise the book itself is great, just started a few pages abandoned I’m already hooked, looking forward to finish it and apply it with my team.
