This read really defines a lot that is wrong with America and this world. The world has done so much to remove God and Christianity from everything and all they did was hurt themselves and a great nation. Phil and I see to eye to eye on so many topics outlined in his book. Brings attention to some of today's "sensitive" subjects.
Having my entire ancestry from north Louisiana, I naturally follow the Robertsons . The latest book from Phil Robertson doesn't disappoint. Sure, most of the suggestions are good old fashioned common sense points.. But Phil shows us that he is an incredibly articulate and educated man who has a lot of good ideas. Shipping was fast and the price was great here on Amazon and from a local seller. I recommend anything written by the Robertsons .
I'm thankful for this book because not only was it interesting to me (as a Christian) to listen to but my non-christian husband enjoyed listening as well. After this book we listened to the audio version of Jase's book Good Call. I wish I would've listened to that one first so I could know a little more background on Phil before listening to his book. Both books are well done and interesting to the average hunter with faith and scripture weaved all through. Well done Phil ... well done.

In this work, Mr. Robertson shows to the reader why Americans are attracted to "Duck Dynasty" and the wholesome Christian virtues that define the extended Robertson family. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to see how this family's embrace of the Christian Faith has resulted in so much good, not only for the Robertson's, but for the many people that the Robertson's have touched and influenced over the years.
Love everything about Phil except that nasty looking beard. I love his philosophy of life, the simple way he lives, the importance of GOD in his life. His adult kids are all great - that's a testament to GREAT parenting by both Father & Mother. Loved their show & comic fun attitudes about most everything. Inspiring to live a more simple life, GOD fearing life & appreciate the beauty of our Earth that GOD has provided.
I'm not one to go crazy for a reality TV show or its people. Yet I find Duck Dynasty enjoyable. Phil is by far my favorite person. I like his wisdom. I like what he has to say. And I must say I loved this book. I loved it so much I bought my mother a copy as mine was on my Kindle. She loved the book as well.Phil is a Christian man who believes in the wisdom and guidance of the Bible. He also believes in common sense, and he has a dry sense of humor. He is "down home", someone you'd be happy to sit down and have a meal with him. I've never wanted to meet a movie or television personality before, however I would not pass up the chance to chat with Phil Robertson in person.

Thank you Phil for your 5 word answer to the world's problems "Love God, love your neighbor." That is all it will take to turn this disaster around. You are a gift to mankind, Phil. As another older first generation Christian who came from an evil past, I deeply admire Phil and his willingness to fight for his family and stand out for Jesus, even if I don’t agree with him. The book is well written, with many deep lessons told through stories.I highly recommend.
Everyone in America should read this book! Especially if you are a Christian. Phil has put it into words that I've been thinking and saying for years. This nation needs to forget "political correctness " and get back to "biblical correctness "! Highly recommended.
